It’s all systems go for the Justice League Virtual Run Series, with The Flash being celebrated this coming Sunday, 8 November. If you are not quite familiar with the Justice League Virtual Run Series, it sees runners and walkers from across the country signing up for the race and completing a distance of 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km or 10 km in their own neighbourhood on race day.

The race gives you the chance to get some exercise, contribute to a good cause and get a cool The Flash t-shirt in the process. Part of the ticket price will go towards Headstart Kids, a non-profit whose core objectives are to eradicate malnourishment, activate key and critical age appropriate learning and ensure optimal child development.

Ticket prices start at R160 pp for students, with individual, group and family packages also available. This Sunday’s race will be too close to receive your entry-goodies in time, which by the way include a Flash shirt, medal, pin and a great PVM Energy Bar. However, you will receive it all post-race day, so don’t stress too much.

Come 8 am on Sunday, TechSmart will be donning our t-shirt, put on some running shoes and get going, although walking the distance is also more than acceptable.

If you believe race day is perhaps too close, there is one more Justice League Virtual Run left for the year. This race will allow you to run as your favourite Justice League superhero, so either Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Batman or The Flash. Mark 13 December in your calendar as race day.

If you want to enter Sunday’s The Flash race, please head over here to do so.
