The Predator hunts its prey as new DLC for Mortal Kombat X
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 8 July 2015 | Categories: newsEasily one of the best fighting games of 2015 to date, Mortal Kombat X (review) has impressed with its gameplay mechanics, as well as a ton of DLC to keep gamers coming back for more.
To keep gamers' interest fixed, NetherRealm has debuted a new DLC that features none other than the Predator itself. While there have been many iterations of the Predator throughout cinematic history, the one featured in the Mortal Kombat X video (see below) looks the most violent of the lot, as he dishes out all kinds of punishment on the MKX roster, giving Jason (Friday the 13th) in particular his attention.
A face only a mother could love.
The Predator's addition should be quite familiar to fans of MKX, as his arrival was detailed with the Kombat Pack, and now gamers who opted to purchase it, will be able to download the camouflaging alien hunter from 7 July onwards. If however you opted not to go for the Kombat Pack, you'll be able to purchase the Predator DLC from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace or Steam from 14 July onwards, depending on your gaming system of choice.
Along with the Predator, gamers will also receive a Carl Weathers-inspired skin for Jax (who also starred in the original Predator film), as well as an Infrared Scorpion and Commando Johnny (Johnny Cage) skins to try out.
