If the recent spate of superhero movies simply aren't cutting it, might we direct your attention to the small screen and specifically the Netflix-produced Marvel's Daredevil. The first season was gritty and dark in the best way possible, as Matt Murdock embraced his alter ego within the confines of Hell's Kitchen. The second season is soon to get underway, 18 March in fact, and Netflix has released the first full trailer for the series.

If the trailer is anything to go by, Daredevil's world is about to get a lot more brutal, as The Punisher (aka Frank Castle) gets added to the mix. Embodying one of the Marvel universe's top mercenaries is Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead), as he takes the fight to Hell's Kitchen's gangsters in the most violent way possible.

As such, this could very well culminate in a final showdown between The Punisher and Daredevil, but it seems the former is willing to go to any lengths to get the job done. Hit play and see whether Daredevil is a match for this new arrival.
