The Sims is porting to mobile, with iOS and Android versions
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 11 May 2017 | Categories: newsIt's been 17 years since the first Sims game landed on PC. In that time though, a full mobile port of the popular RPG franchise never came to fruition. Until now, as EA recently announced the soft launch of The Sims Mobile.
Going just off the trailer (pasted below), it seems like The Sims experience you're familiar with on PC is pretty much the same on mobile.
To that end, mobile gamers will be able to fully customise the look of their Sim, as well as create a unique environment for them to thrive or struggle in, depending on how good (or sadistic) a RPG player you are. Added to this, will be the ability to follow future generations of your Sim family, which adds another dimension to the game's experience and possibility longevity.
As for when we'll be able to try out The Sims Mobile, EA has not divulged a specific launch date. For now, we only have the trailer below to dissect.
