The Witcher 3's new Blood and Wine DLC has 30 hours of gameplay to offer
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 11 May 2016 | Categories: newsIt's already been a year since CD Projekt RED debuted The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with the game taking as much as 200 hours to complete. The developer's upcoming DLC titled Blood and Wine continues that tradition with a reported 30 hours of gameplay crammed into it. Blood and Wine is the second expansion pack to land for the Witcher 3 and sees Geralt take up his usual vocation of monster hunting, this time in the once peaceful land of Toussaint.
According to the expansion's Steam page, there will be more than 90 quests for gamers to try and master, along with an estimated 40 points of interest, as well as 14 000 new lines of dialogue. As such, it seems like Blood and Wine is packing more content into it than most standalone RPG titles do.
The expansion will be available for purchase on 31 May on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC, but the pricing for each version remains unconfirmed. There might be a number of big titles releasing this month, but the amount of content on offer from CD Projekt RED still make this DLC a worthwhile purchase for RPG fans.
