By Robin-Leigh Chetty 25 January 2017 | Categories: newsIf you are a software developer, you'll likely be diarising Google I/O each year. The date for this year's conference has not been detailed, until now, however, as a recent tweet from the Google Developers' profile has been deciphered by Android Police.
Around the world, from here to there, to the most clever minds, the secret will share. #googledevs #savethedate https://t.co/0zwCbSLzVy pic.twitter.com/0O2vNDWZx2

The tweet involved some scavenger hunt style detective work, with a series of coordinates and numbers. After solving the puzzle, Android Police has confidently announced Google I/O 2017's dates as 17-19 May. The official website for the event though, has not been updated to reflect when it will be held.
With a number of announcements around AI and VR at last year's Google I/O, we expect this year's one to follow suit.
