Ubisoft teases image for 12 May reveal of Assassins Creed Victory
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 8 May 2015 | Categories: newsGame developers releasing teasers for games are nothing new nowadays, but it seems like teasers for teasers are gaining popularity. The latest COD: Black Ops III title took such a root, and now Ubisoft's latest installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise has taken a similar tact. Set for an official reveal on 12 May, Ubisoft has teased a new image for an upcoming Assassin's Creed game on its site. It features an Assassin (most likely the main protagonist), wearing a wrist-mounted, spring-loaded blade, forearm strapped pistol and knuckle dusters.
According to Polygon, the game was outed late last year as Assassin's Creed Victory, set in 19th century-era Victorian London. Ubisoft's website posting also makes reference to the phrase "Oppression has to end", hinting at a possible revolutionary uprising as we saw in last year's ill-fated Assassin's Creed Unity.
For more info, Ubisoft will be hosting a livestreamed event on 12 May at 4 PM local time.
