Volume One soundtrack for Stranger Things lands on iTunes
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 15 August 2016 | Categories: newsNetflix has had a number of big wins in the past two years, but none have proved as popular as Stranger Things, the hit show that melds together Dungeons & Dragons, Stephen King and 80s nostalgia for great binge-watchability. The series is currently available on the streaming platform, with the second season yet to begin production. In the interim, however, fans have been baying for a soundtrack to be released for the series.
Heeding their call, Netflix in conjunction with Lakeshore Records has released the first volume for Stranger Things, featuring the series' original score by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein. Volume One is only available digitally via the iTunes store for now, but will be ready to purchase physically on 16 September in select regions. Hopefully, the physical version will also include some worthwhile extras.

For those wondering when Volume Two will hit? Lakeshore Records will release the digital version (also on iTunes) on 19 August, with a physical variant arriving on 23 September. While it's unclear which tracks will be added, we're hoping it will have some of the 80s hits that featured on the TV show. Our personal choice is Foreigner's I've been waiting for a girl like you
