No, you can’t play COD on your iPhone, at least not yet. But Activision has released a free Call of Duty: World at War Companion app for the iPhone.

Players with linked Stats accounts on CoDWaW.com will be able to track their in-game stats including data on things like headshot kills and weapons’ kills, and even receive news feeds directly from Treyarch for info on the latest game updates.

More competitive players can compare their performance against that of friends’ and keep tabs on their position in world leaderboards. So the next time you get into a squabble with a friend over who has the best kill-death ratio you know what to do.
