Canon EOS 7D unveiled

The 7D features a new 18MP APS-C CMOS Sensor, dual "DIGIC 4" processors, an ISO range expandable to 12,800 and continuous shooting at 8 fps. It also features 1080p 24fps HD video with full manual control, a 3\" LCD, a 19-point AF system and a new viewfinder with 1.0x magnification and 100% coverage
What all these features conspire to do for photographers is allow for better shooting speeds, image quality and ISO performance. According to Canon the 7D was designed from the ground up with feedback from more than 5000 photographers considered in its design.
Roger Machin, product manager at Canon SA said," Canon took the feedback from over 5,000 photographers worldwide and matched it with cutting-edge technology. This resulted in the development of the EOS 7D which now offers photographers the versatile tool they require to experiment with their images."
