The phones keep on coming thick and fast from Nokia World, held in Stuttgart, Germany. Not only did Nokia release a PC, the Nokia Booklet 3G netbook, but also a whole flock of phones, including the Nokia N900 with their new Maemo 5 OS, the Nokia 5230 and the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition. But wait, there’s more.

Music fans should get a big kick out of the really gorgeous X6. It comes with a spacious 32 GB worth of onboard storage, and also sports a sleek 3.2” 16:9 capacitive touch-screen. It is the first Nokia phone to boast capacitive touch, used in the iPhone and HTC Magic. This promises better response to touch, although using a stylus is now a thing of the past. The X6 also includes a five megapixel snapper with video editing, web browsing featuring Flash Lite and A-GPS with compass. To complete the list, please also check off Wi-Fi and HSDPA.

In Europe the X6 forms part of Nokia’s Comes with Music offering, which gives you a year to ransack the Nokia Music Store for tunes. We’re not sure if this will be the case in SA as well. The European retail price is set at €450.

Nokia would make Dr Evil proud with the spawning of the N97 mini. As the name implies it’s a smaller version of their popular N97, which it seems they’ve managed to do by cutting away the D-Pad on the QWERTY keyboard. Apparently it’s not that much smaller, only about a centimeter.

The phone still tilts like the N97 and includes a decent set of specs- 8 GB of onboard memory, a 3.2” resistive touch display, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and a five megapixel camera. It is the first Nokia phone to feature Lifecasting with Ovi, which enables you to publish your location and status updates directly to your Facebook account from the home screen. It will also retail for €450.
