Dance Central 2 jamming into local stores soon
By Hanleigh Daniels 24 October 2011 | Categories: newsMicrosoft has announced that Dance Central 2 will be available within stores as of Friday 28 October in South Africa. This title is exclusive to Kinect for Xbox 360 and offers gamers full-body dance moves with professional-grade choreography to popular tracks from the world of hip hop, R&B and Pop. Featured artists include the likes of Usher, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj.
Owners of the original game will be happy to know that they will be able to expand on this music selection by importing original tracks from Dance Central and getting new ones via the in-game Music Store. Importing your original Dance Central soundtrack will cost $5 (approximately R40, equivalent to 400 Microsoft Points) and you will also need to have an Xbox 360 with a hard-drive or USB storage device, with at least 200-250 MB of free storage space.
Dance Central 2 also introduces the two-player simultaneous multiplayer mode with seamless jump in / jump out functionality, whilst the redesigned ‘Break it Down’ feature will assist players in perfecting each move. The game will be available from retailers from this Friday for a recommended retail price of R399.
