Mozilla today announced the officially availability of the beta release for the fourth version of its popular internet browser Firefox. 
 
Firefox 4 (Beta) is currently available for download (9 MB) on Windows, Linux and OS X Machines and features a new format, design, support for the new WebM format and a new add on manager. 
 
The new release also includes new privacy settings and crash protection. In addition it will also introduce HTML 5 support as a standard as well as full screen video API. For more information regarding what’s new in the Beta release read Mozilla’s specification chart.
 
At present Firefox is the second most popular web browser behind Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. It currently holds 31% of the global market share.
