PS3 & PSP find a home on Facebook
 
Sony’s PlayStation 3 and PSP have finally got their own Facebook page. PlayStation users and fans can head over to the console’s page on Facebook, to find out the latest news, watch trailers of upcoming releases, enter competitions and gain access to some fun PlayStation apps like web-based games. 
 
In related news, the updated version of Media Go is available for download from Sony Creative Software. A new feature included with Media Go 1.4 is support for chapter marks, subtitles and multiple audio channels for video playback. Another new development is the ability to purchase content without your PSP having to be connected to your PC via USB cable.

According to IGN there is another James Bond title in the works, that is set for release on the Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii. This is based on Activision's confirmation last year that they’re developing a new Bond game, as well as the UK online retailer HMV listing a new Bond game for the three consoles, called James Bond: Bloodstone.
 
The Beatles Rock Band website up for award

 
Harmonix Music Systems, Inc. announced on Monday that the The Beatles Rock Band game website has been nominated for a Webby Award for Best Games-Related Site. The Webby Award winners will be announced on 4 May and the award ceremony will be taking place in New York City on 14 June. “Nominees like TheBeatlesRockBand.com are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said David-Michel Davies, executive director of the Webby Awards. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the nearly 10,000 entries we received this year.”
 
New Media Player Engine for PSP
 
Quick Jump Network (QJ Net) has reported on a new (version 2) Media Player Engine for the PSP that was released by Homebrew coder DedDinO_94. The media player, written in Lua, offers support for MP3, AA3 and OGG formats and looks similar to Windows Media Player. It can be downloaded (1.45 MB) from QJ Nets site.
