LGs new 3D LCD Panel
By Thomas McKinnon 27 May 2009 | Categories: newsLG announced today that it has succeeded in developing a Full HD 23\" 3D LCD panel.
The 3D LCD panel is geared towards monitor applications. What makes the panel so impressive is the fact that it is approximately twice as bright as conventional 3D panels. When you consider the fact that it also offers 1080p resolutions the panel is quite extraordinary.
The panel has time-sequential technologies embedded, which basically means that your right and left eyes see different images, thus creating a 3D effect. 3D viewing is, however, only possible via polarised glasses, they are fairly cheap though.
