MTN Business launches SME Plus

The first of the services being made available is MTN4SME, which the company explained offers significant discounts on various voice packages to small and medium business owners who have between two and 200 employees.
MTN elaborated that the discounts on offer will vary depending on the size and requirements of the business. These will be determined through a business analysis done by MTN Business. Additionally, the discounts are applicable to various MTN Anytime and MTN Anytime Top Up packages.
“A recent Small and Medium Enterprise business survey, conducted by Pastel Accounting, indicated that there are an estimated 1.5 million SMEs in this country, which is a clear indication that the small and micro business sector is growing, and as a result contributing significantly towards South Africa’s economic development,” commented Nomalanga Nkosi, general manager of business marketing at MTN Business.
“At MTN Business we believe it is crucial to harness this growth and to do so it is critical for corporates to support this sector in cost effectively meeting their technological and business connectivity needs,” she continued.
Small business owners can visit MTN outlets or contact the MTN Business channel directly to find out whether they apply for these discounts based on their current voice packages.
In related news, MTN recently launched its suite of enterprise focused apps for mobile devices.
