Nokia has announced two new additions to their X series line-up, the Nokia X5 and the X6 8 GB.

 

The Nokia X5 fits in between the X3 and the X6 and boasts a five megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and LED flash, dedicated music keys as well as access to Ovi Music and Comes with Music.

It also sports a full QWERTY keyboard, social networking integration (including Twitter and Facebook), and support for all the major IM and webmail services right out of the box.

The phone has 200 MB of built-in memory and supports MicroSD cards offering of up to 32 GB of additional storage. Nokia also claim that the X5’s battery will allow for up to 16 days of standby time or 24 hours of music playback from a full charge. The Finnish manufacturer’s X5 is set to launch in Indonesia during Q3 with other regions still to be announced.

 

Nokia’s X6 8 GB features the same specs as its bigger X6 brother, such as the Symbian S60 OS, 3.2" display with 360 x 640 pixels resolution, aGPS and a five megapixel camera, but it has 8 GB of built-in memory as opposed to the 32 GB that the normal X6 comes with.

The phone is expected to be available within Q3 of this year in selected markets. The local pricing and release dates for the X5 and X6 8 GB aren't available yet.
