Tony Stark plays mentor in new Spider-Man: Homecoming trailerBy Robin-Leigh Chetty 29 March 2017 | Categories: News
"If you're nothing without this suit, then you shouldn't have it." These are the words that Tony Stark barks at Spider-Man in the latest trailer for Homecoming. In it, high schooler Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) is still coming to grips with what it means to be a hero, and after a botched mission gets his Stark Industries designed suit taken away from him.
As such, later on in the trailer we see Parker don his early homemade version, which was seen briefly in last year's Civil War. He wears it when taking on the main antagonist for Homecoming, the Vulture (portrayed by Michael Keaton), who gets his hands on some high tech weaponry, laying waste to New York City.
With no apparent Uncle Ben-type father figure spotted in the film yet, it appears as if Stark will be filling that void. To that end, it should be interesting to see how the narcissistic superhero fairs as a mentor.
Hitting cinemas in July, hit play on the video below and enjoy. Just be careful, some said the trailer gives away too much of the movie, but we’ll leave it up to you to decide.
