New Silent Hill game announced
By Hanleigh Daniels 30 June 2010 | Categories: newsKonami Digital Entertainment has announced that they are currently working on a new title in the Silent Hill series. This will make it the eighth release in the Silent Hill franchise when it becomes available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next year.
The new game will boast a new storyline that will see players assuming the role of an inmate Murphy Pendleton who is stranded in Silent Hill armed with only his wits and objects from his surroundings, after his prison transport vehicle runs off the road.
You must then solve puzzles and fend off terrifying creatures with nearby objects like wooden chairs and glass bottles on your way to unravelling the mysterious plot behind the game.
“We are honouring the rich history and strong following of Silent Hill, and working hard to build another unforgettable horror game that the fans truly deserve,” said Martin Schneider, European marketing and PR director for Konami Digital Entertainment. “Silent Hill introduces an all-new storyline and unique evolutions in gameplay, building on innovations and successes from over a decade of true survival horror and terror.”
