Nokia N97 mini in South Africa

This Symbian powered smartphone is smaller than its big brother, the N97, measuring 113 x 52.5 x 14.2 mm and weighing 138 g (12 g less than the N97). It utilises the same excellent five megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics as the N97. No details concerning its price has been released yet.
The new arrival will also sport the latest version of Ovi Maps offering free turn-by-turn navigation, as well as global pedestrian navigation. You’ll also be able to access content from Lonely Planet and Wcities, offering you the latest tour guide info on some popular destinations from around the globe.
“The Nokia N97 Mini carries substantial developments in smart phone functionality as well as enhanced sharing capabilities, all in a sleek package,” says Patrick Henchie, product manager for Nokia South Africa. “It’s important to note too that the device works seamlessly with Nokia’s Ovi Store allowing users to personalise their device with ringtones, applications, widgets and other content,” he added.
