Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 was officially launched today at a function held by EA Software South Africa at Vodacom World of Golf, Midrand.

The event was attended by noteworthy South African sports stars like Andre Arendse, Roger de Sa and Katlego Mashego. Bafana Bafana striker, Katlego Mashego commented that, “Tiger Woods is an unbelievable sportsman whom a lot of us admire. The fact that he endorses this product shows you the power of the game. It is certainly a game that I will keep close by my side throughout my travels around the country during the season.”

The latest instalment in the series features new online modes and enhanced character progression that is set to make it more realistic and immersive than ever before.

The Wii version of the game is just the second game launched that supports the new Wii MotionPlus controller. The add-on supposedly creates a more authentic swing motion allowing players to naturally draw and fade the ball. From our first encounters it is far more satisfying experience than the previous version.

The game will also be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PSP platforms. The game will be available in stores from July 3, 2009.
