The micro blogging site Twitter is a useful communication tool for its more than 190 million users, but given this number, it can be difficult to locate some of the more interesting and informative people or companies to follow.

On Friday the popular social networking site announced a new feature called ‘Suggestions for You’. It suggests people to users that they aren’t currently following and whom they might find interesting. These suggestions are based on a number of factors, such as people you follow as well as the people that they follow.

These suggestions will appear on Twitter.com and on the "Find People" section of the website. All you have to do to follow any of the recommended users on the list is to click ‘follow’ and if you don’t like them you can just click ‘hide’.

When you view the account of a gadget reviewer for example, you will also be able to see suggestions for other similar tech user accounts.
