By Staff Writer 16 March 2011 | Categories: newsVerbatim recently unveiled its new BD-RE DL 2X Blu-ray disc, offering a massive 50 GB of storage space. This large capacity makes it good for day-to-day backup, beta-testing for video and software applications or short-term recording for home video and video content for professional broadcast.
A Hardcoat Scratch Guard protects against scratches, fingerprints, dust, oil and water, while SERL (Super Eutectic Recording Layer) technology ensures recording compatibility and excellent rewritability up to a thousand times.
The new Blu-ray disc offers up to ten times the capacity of a DVD-R and with the introduction of the BD-RE DL 50 GB 2X, Verbatim now offers all Blu-ray formats available on the market.
