We love Spider-Man and we love games, but we can’t help feeling like there is a fly in the ointment with this one.
PROS
Fluid control scheme, In-house gags, Plenty to do
CONS
Bland combat, Dumb AI, Irrelevant Hero-Menace dynamic
VERDICT
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is not a bad game, and it even has its moments where it shines, but ultimately, it's biggest failing is that unlike its titular hero, it doesn't reach the heights constantly enough to be amazing.
