Augmented Reality experience for Galaxy S9 leaks ahead of time

Is there any point in Samsung waiting until 25 February to unveil the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus at this stage considering all the recent leaks of the devices? Well, yes, but this latest bit of information to prematurely surface would have been nice to keep under wraps until the big day.
Nevertheless it shows that those attending MWC 2018 in Barcelona next week really do have the best luck, as they'll be able to check out the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus in Augmented Reality (AR) should they be unable to touch the devices in person.
The information comes via XDA Developers, with the AR component said to form part of a press pack for MWC 2018 attendees. A curious Reddit user made the discovery, after digging deeper into the Android Galaxy Unpacked mobile app, which hid (for now) a feature that allows those going to Samsung's press conference to view the new device on their phone's display (if compatible).
While it does not come close to the genuine article, it would have been a nice surprise in Barcelona next week.
