With Mobile World Congress only a few days away, the leaks have begun in earnest. The latest company to fall victim is Sony, with Xperia Blog sharing a pair of images for what is believed to be the Xperia XZ2 Compact.

While the name is not confirmed yet, it would follow the Japanese manufacturer's usual naming trend. They debuted the Xperia XZ1 Compact ahead of IFA 2017 last year, so seeing a follow up this early is a tad odd. That said, based on the images provided, there does not seem to be much of a design change for the XZ2 Compact.

We can only hope that Sony has taken greater effort for the flagship device that they plan to debut next week, 26 February, at MWC 2018, which in all likelihood is shaping up to be the XZ2 Premium. As for what else they have in store, remains to be seen.
