Avengers: Age of Ultron TV spots begin cropping up online
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 20 March 2015 | Categories: newsThe Avengers movies are pretty important. Not just because they bring together some of Marvel Entertainment's most successful superhero franchises, it’s also the central thread that binds the Marvel movie universe together. No doubt that the two-part Infinity War film coming in 2018 and 2019 will be Marvel's crowning achievement, but this year's Age of Ultron flick still has a big part to play.
The smorgasbord of action will be hitting local cinemas on 24 April, which feels like a lifetime away. In the meantime, some new TV spots have cropped up on YouTube courtesy of Marvel Entertainment. The first showcases the original six Avenger members from the first film, along with two new Russian imports. As usual Robert Downey Jr's Iron-Man steals the show with his quick quips to keep the ominous tone of the film a little light and funny. The second sees director and Sci-Fi genius Joss Whedon chat about each of the cast members, providing both insight into the film and what the actors were like on set. He also teases the fact that some unknown Marvel characters will be making an appearance, apart from Vision of course.
