BMW teases all-electric iX3 for Beijing Auto Show
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 23 April 2018 | Categories: NewsBMW is one carmaker leading the charge when it comes to electric vehicles (EVs). The Bavarian manufacturer is set to unveil its latest offering at the Beijing Auto Show later this week, with a recent tweet noting that the iX3 is on its way.

The all-electric offering would be the first vehicle that BMW has manufactured in the SUV segment, and will fit alongside the i3 and i8 models. The precise launch of the car is unknown at this stage, but it has been touted for release in 2020. It will also form part of the 12 or so all-electric car models that BMW has got planned to hit the roads by 2025.
Hopefully, in order to support this massive project, the German carmaker also has proposition to bring more charging stations to the countries where its current EVs operate. More will be revealed in Beijing though, so watch this space.
