Back to the Future is being brought back to the present
By Ryan Noik 2 October 2015 | Categories: newsIt’s hard to believe that Back to the Future is almost thirty years old, and yet that is exactly the case. To celebrate the iconic movie’s anniversary, Telltale Games has confirmed that it will be bringing its adventure game series back for a re-release, this time on the PS4, Xbox One as well as the Xbox 360.
Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition will sport higher resolution textures and the voice work of Tom Wilson, who played McFly’s nemesis Biff Tannen. The re-release will also entice with exclusive content, a behind the scenes video of interviews with co-writer and producer Bob Gale, as well as members of the development team.
That’s nice and all, but we must confess to being somewhat disappointed that there wasn’t a limited edition announced, with a working version of the hoverboard Marty used in Back to the Future II, on the 21st October 2015. Small consolation though, is that the digital re-release, out on the 16th of this month, will cost a reasonable $20 (R280).
