It's nearing three years since we last played Fallout 4, which despite some interesting bugs, was lauded as a gaming triumph. As such, we've been anxiously waiting to see when developers Bethesda had a follow up title to showcase. It looks like E3 2018 next month will be the stage, with Bethesda releasing a teaser trailer for Fallout 76.

There is very little to go on at this stage, with the trailer only showcasing scenes and rooms from inside a Fallout vault. The vault in question appears to be number 76, with a character near the end of the video wearing a suit with number stitched onto it. The voice on the radio also states that humanity's hope rests on Vault 76.

As such, this game could take place during the time when gamers were in cryostasis during Fallout 4, as the nuclear dust settled and survivors had to venture out of their bunkers to find out what happened to the rest of the world.

It's also being suggested by Kotaku that Fallout 76 will be an online survival RPG title, with the gameplay changing significantly from what regular Fallout players may be familiar with. Hopefully though the story and world building that Bethesda titles are known for will remain intact.

All will be revealed, however, on 10 June during Bethesda's E3 2018 press conference.
