BioWare says forthcoming patches will fix Mass Effect: Andromeda issues
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 5 April 2017 | Categories: newsOne of the highly anticipated video game releases at the start of 2017, Mass Effect: Andromeda has struggled to live up to the hype following its cross-platform release last month. It wasn't the gameplay that gamers cited, but rather spit and polish type stuff, like not saving correctly, characters freezing and the look of face animations. Fully aware of the problem, developer BioWare will be issuing out several patches in order to address them, with the first one arriving on 6 April.
Bioware made the announcement on the Mass Effect website, as Patch 1.05 readies for rollout. Along the series of fixes contained in this week's patch, BioWare has also detailed what future patches will tackle.
These include:
- More options and variety in the character creator
- Improvements to hair and general appearance for characters
- Ongoing improvements to cinematic scenes and animations
- Improvements to male romance options for Scott Ryder
- Adjustments to conversations with Hainly Abrams.
Whether the flurry of patches is enough to keep gamers interested in Mass Effect: Andromeda, remains to be seen.
