If you’re keen on your graphic novels and looking to stock up on your collection at a decent price, the folks over at Comixology are ready to provide. Comixology is currently hosting some serious sales on awesome titles, with many as much as 75% off on what they usually retail for.

For those not in the know, Comixology is the place to go if you want to buy comics digitally. And while this is no reason not to support your local comic shop (nothing actually beats holding a physical comic in your hands, does it?), they do sometimes deliver the goods in regards to price.

Three sales have struck our fancy. Firstly, the Dark Horse Staff Picks Sale. We’re big fans of Dark Horse, not the least because of Hellboy, Abe Sapien and the rest of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. Here you can pick up for example, Hellboy: The First 20 Years for $5, or Vol. 1 and 2 of Hellboy in Hell. Also, do yourself a favour and buy the Eisner award winning, The Fifth Beatle or some crime noir in the form of Blacksad: A Silent Hell. The first volume of Black Hammer is a bit of a slow-burn, forcing you to buy Vol. 2 for the regular going rate. As a final option, skip the nonsense from Angel Catbird and hit up Fight Club 2 instead.

Secondly, you might know that Neil Gaiman’s iconic Sandman universe received some new additions, with many of them now on sale. If you’re looking to get into the series, it might be worthwhile to start at the very beginning, with The Sandman Vol. 1: Preludes and Nocturnes going for $5. You can then start delving deeper into the newer stuff, including Lucifer: Book One, Books of Magic Book One, or the older volumes from Gaiman, also going for $5.

Finally, one of our favourite publishers that consistently delivers the goods is Image Comics. The Image Linewide Collections and Graphic Novels Sale includes a lot to delve into, including to up to Vol. 9 of the highly successful Saga series. Also check out Bitch Planet, Black Science, Blue Estate and Chew out while you’re at it, also going for in the region of $5.

There’s a lot more to choose from during the sale, so head through to Comixology. If you don’t want to cough up a lot of money, join Comixology Unlimited where you receive access to a number of awesome titles to ‘borrow’ for a fixed fee of $6 per month – a great option for the upcoming holidays.
