We're now less than a month away from Bungie releasing Destiny 2 on console gaming platforms, with 6 September the slated date of launch. With the console beta for the game wrapping up recently, and PC version kicking off later this month, there's quite a bit of anticipation for this MMOFPS title. To date, we've become more familiar with the story mode, but it's the multiplayer portion of Destiny 2 that will ultimately see the game rise or fall.

To that end, a new video has been released by Bungie detailing Destiny's 2 Competitive Multiplayer, as the Crucible in this game promises to be more challenging than ever, according to its developer. As such, there'll be a 4v4 option on the cards, as well as plenty spoils to be claimed for the victors.

With Bungie noting that the multiplayer aspect of Destiny 2 received a significant overhaul at the game's official unveiling a couple of months ago, it should prove interesting to see how it fares against other popular multiplayer titles like Overwatch and CS:GO.

Check out the new Crucible in the video below.
