Destiny 2 has a Valentine's Day event planned for next week
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 8 February 2018 | Categories: newsWith Valentine's Day just around the corner, the scramble to find a good gift is on. For those who are still unsure of what to get, perhaps Bungie's latest announcement for Destiny 2 can help you out. If you're better half is an an avid gamer, Destiny 2's Crimson Days event might just be the thing.
Kicking off on 13 February and lasting for a week, Crimson Days is an event that Bungie has done in the past, but this upcoming version promises to be less stingy with the loot. These will include crimson-coloured shaders, weapons and sparrows, with uncapped Crimson Engrams also on offer. Added to this will be a 2v2 Clash mode in Multiplayer, as well as a Crucible map called the Burning Shrine.
According to Bungie, the best way to get gear will be via the Crucible playlist, with gamers receiving both an Illuminated Engram and Crimson Engram every time they level up. There will also be specific rewards for certain challenges completed, with five in total up for grabs.
The best of the lot is the Flaunting emote, which looks step for step like the dance from Beyoncé's Single Ladies.
