Elon Musk releases first image of production-level Model 3
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 10 July 2017 | Categories: NewsThe end of July marks a significant date for Tesla Motors, with the company readying the first batch of its Model 3 for delivery to customers. It will also be the Tesla's first electric vehicle to be manufactured at its Gigafactory in Nevada.
To date, prototype versions of the vehicle have been spotted on the roads, but now fully fledged images of the production-level version of the Model 3 have been released, by none other than Tesla's own Elon Musk.

As far as details go, the real-world images align up well with the renderings. Based off the side-on view from the image tweeted above, the arches over the front wheels look a tad more accentuated than we initially thought, giving the Model 3 a sportier look than we expected.
Tesla plans to produce 20 000 Model 3s by the year's end, but how many, as well as when, any of them will land in South Africa remains to be seen.
