In November last year, Facebook unveiled a closed beta of its Instant Games feature for the company's Messenger app. Now Instant Games has moved out of the beta phase and is ready to rollout to all devices capable of support the messaging app, with an estimated 1.2 billion people capable of having access to it.

The Instant Games are HTML5 based and include titles like PAC-MAN, Galaga, SPACE INVADERS and EverWing. That's just the tip of the iceberg though, with up to 50 different games available depending on region.

Along with rolling out to more countries, Instant Games will also support turn-based gameplay. Added to this will be leaderboards and the ability to create tournaments with other Facebook Messenger users.

We're unsure if this will up the number of Facebook Messenger users, but it will certainly help pass the boredom.
