First screenshots of Dontnod's new game, Vampyr, pop up online
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 1 March 2016 | Categories: newsDevelopers Dontnod had a runaway gaming hit on their hands with Life is Strange. Naturally then, their follow-up will be eagerly anticipated. That game, however, is not what many have anticipated, but rather a dark and brooding project named Vampyr.
The game is set in London during 1918, with our protagonist being Johnathan Reid, a doctor who specialises in blood research. He just so happens to be a vampire, although his thirst for killing is not as intense as his fellow vampires’.
It's a very intriguing premise, and now the first few screenshots have arrived from Dontnod showcasing the look and feel of the game. As expected, darkness and shadows abound, with the concept teaser video showcased several weeks ago having a very similar tone.

While we're unsure how Dontnod will cope with a very different type of game compared to Life is Strange's point and click gameplay, more info about Vampyr will likely be incoming when E3 rolls around in June.
