First trailer for all-female Ghostbusters reboots lands online
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 4 March 2016 | Categories: newsWhen we first reported that Sony Pictures was working on an all-female reboot for Ghostbusters, the potential of a movie helmed by Bridesmaids director Paul Feig, while enlisting the comedic talents of Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, it seemed a match made in heaven. Over the past few months, Feig has been drip feeding us bits and pieces of information about the reboot, and now we have a full length trailer to enjoy.
It starts off rather seriously for a comedy, but thankfully just after 30 seconds, we get to see Wiig (playing Erin Gilbert) get covered in a ton of ectoplasmic vomit. That pretty much sets the tone for the rest of the trailer, as the four women tackle a new spectral threat in New York City, all while riding around in a tricked out Cadillac hearse. Hit play on the trailer below and see these comedians at work.
