Here’s some good news for players of LEGO Marvel Avenger’s as the game is starting off the year on a generous note: with free content. The DLC will be available for the PS4 and PS3, but its most pleasant surprise is the pedigree of the two character packs. First off, the first pack to drop on the 29^th of January, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War Character Pack pays homage to the forthcoming Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War movie.

This will boast nine characters featured in the upcoming movie, including Iron Man, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Falcon, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Crossbones and Agent 13.

The news gets even better though, since the second pack will apparently evoke fond memories of a sleeper hit of a movie which took many, including us, by surprise – Ant Man.  

This pack will apparently features a level based on a section of the film as well as eleven characters,  including Ant-Man, Flying Ant, Cassie Lang, Darren Cross, Scott Lang, Hank Pym, Hope Van Dyne, Luis, The Wasp and Yellowjacket, with the promise of bringing Ant-Man and Yellowjacket complete with their abilities to the game.

The Marvel’s Ant-Man Character & Level Pack is only slated for release sometime later this year (no release date provided yet) but let’s hope it does justice to the ‘antics’ of the movie.
