Grimsby starting on Friday, new Sacha Baron Cohen comedy
By Staff Writer 24 February 2016 | Categories: newsGrimsby, the latest comedy from Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) is hitting local screens this Friday. Cohen is doing what he does best, playing an idiot, this time another British one. Nobby (Cohen) and his twin brother Sebastian (Mark Strong, Sherlock Holmes) were separated as kids, with life taking them on completely different paths. Sebastian becomes an MI6 agent, while a reunification with Nobby happens at the worst time possible.
The movie is directed by Louis Leterrier, who is perhaps better known for his action chops as seen in The Transporter and The Incredible Hulk. But then again, it seems as though action plays as much a part in Grimsby as Cohen’s rather unique humour.
We’re actually just going to watch for the amazing Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids), who plays Nobby’s darling wife. While checking out the trailers below, have a look out for some Cape Town landmarks, with production luckily taking the movie to more exotic locales than Grimsby, which has recently been voted as the worst place to live in the UK.
Hit the trailers below for more, but know that some vulgarity might pop up.
