If only we had the latest Macbeth movie to help us through matric, but alas it comes a few years too late. Based on hot new writer, W. Shakespeare’s latest best seller, Macbeth tells the story of ambition, betrayal, murder and an indomitable spot. The movie stars man of the moment, Michael Fassbender in the title role, and is helmed by Justin Kurzel, who is also directing Fassbender in the upcoming Assassin's Creed flick.

If you are not familiar with the tale, Macbeth receives a prophecy that he will be Scotland’s future king, promptly killing the current one to speed up the process. If the trailer is anything to go by, expect a lot of slow, dramatic action, dirty men and desaturation filters.
