We all know what happens when Jason takes on Freddy, but how about the likes of Scorpion and Sub-Zero? First teased with the Kombat Pack edition of Mortal Kombat X (review), now that loveable hockey mask wearing serial killer Jason Voorhees will put his skills to the test against far more formidable foe. Developers NetherRealm confirmed the news via a livestream session late yesterday, stating that Jason will be available to all users that purchased the Kombat Pack DLC (which goes for roughly $30) as of 5 May.

If you haven't chosen to get your hands on the Kombat Pack, Mr. Voorhees will be available to purchase one week later, although an exact price is unknown. Personally we'd advise going for the Kombat Pack, as the likes of The Predator, as well as MK regulars Tanya and Tremor are also included. Furthermore, the Samurai Pack skins will be added for good measure.
