Kuma and Panda return for Tekken 7
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 12 December 2016 | Categories: newsBandai Namco is putting the finishing touches on Tekken 7, the latest iteration of the iconic fighting franchise which is set to hit the PS4, Xbox One and Steam some time next year. While the reveal of Akuma (Street Fighter) at E3 was the biggest for the title to date, two furrier characters have now been reintroduced to the roster - Kuma and Panda.
Yes, these bears are bad news indeed for any unsuspecting fighters, as they put their skills to the test in a recently released trailer. Their moves are all about power, with the added ability to counter very well. They also feature a few little quirks, with Panda for example donning the accessories of a Harajuku girl and Kuma using a giant salmon to knock his opponents clear out of the ring.
For a game that tries to strike a serious tone with its storyline, Kuma and Panda add a nice bit of lightheartedness. Thankfully though, Bandai Namco have made the pair as tough to fight as any other character on the roster.
Hit play on the trailer below and see these bears in action.
