Latest trailer for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation surfaces online
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 5 June 2015 | Categories: newsAfter a short but fast-paced first trailer, a more detailed second trailer for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation has surfaced. Four years after the events of Ghost Protocol, a terrorist group known as the Syndicate has the IMF (Hawke's intelligence agency) in its sights, with their downfall being the end-goal.
Joining Hawke in his efforts to save the free world are fellow IMF agents, William Brandt (Jeremy Renner) and Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg), both of whom featured in the previous film. Also joining their ranks is Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, the resident tech genius and eye in the sky, as well as Ilsa (played by Rebecca Ferguson), the European femme fatale aiding Hawke.
All five can be seen in the trailer below, which features Hawke attempting a death defying underwater stunt that requires some last second heroics. True to the franchise's history, there is plenty of action, interspersed with international politics and hi-tech equipment to keep the pace going.
Rogue Nation is set to hit cinemas Stateside on 31 July, but its local release is yet to be detailed. For now though, click on the trailer below and see how Hawke copes in his fifth outing.
