Leatherface, Xenomorph join mayhem in Kombat Pack 2 trailer for Mortal Kombat X
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 13 January 2016 | Categories: newsIf you're one of those lucky few still on holiday and not at work yet, you might want to spend your time dissecting the latest Kombat Pack to debut for NetherRealm's Mortal Kombat X (review). Kombat Pack 2 brings with it four new notable characters, all of which can be seen in the trailer below.
Joining the ever growing roster of kombatants is Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Xenomorph from the Alien franchise, split personality ninja cyborg Triborg and drunken master Bo’ Rai Cho. Our favourite of the bunch, based on trailer evidence, has to be the Xenomorph, whose fatality moves are no doubt awesome. All four will be available to download on your chosen platforms in coming days. Those with Season Passes will most likely have earlier access than others, with no price yet detailed for the standalone DLC option. According to Gamespot though, you could be looking around the region of $30 (R496).
Thanks to the weak rand, that is a substantial outlay for a piece of gaming DLC, but if you enjoyed the MKX game last year, as we did, click on the trailer to see these new characters go at it and make your mind up if R500 is worth spending.
