Mass Effect: Andromeda slated for 21 March cross-platform release
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 5 January 2017 | Categories: newsThere are a number of big gaming titles arriving in the next few months. One of them is Mass Effect: Andromeda, which was previously slated for a release in early 2017. Now, a more precise date is known, with BioWare's latest game arriving in the United States on 21 March, and in Europe on 23 March.
A local release date has not been detailed for South Africa, but we're expecting a similar one to that of Europe (23 March).
Described by its developer as the most ambitious Mass Effect game to date, Andromeda will give gamers the choice of either a male or female Pathfinder to play as the protagonist. Aiming to power the game, BioWare has shifted to a new engine - Frostbite. The same engine was recently utilised for FIFA 17 and Battlefield 1, which are also a EA published titles.
