Nintendo to detail Switch's games via Treehouse live stream on 13 January
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 6 January 2017 | Categories: newsIn late November last year, Nintendo stated that a hands-on event for their new Switch hybrid console would be taking place on 13 November. Along with detailing the specifications and features of the Switch, Nintendo has now confirmed that an "in-depth" look at the gaming titles arriving on the platform will follow the hands-on.

The in-depth look will take place at 04:30 (SAST) via a live streamed Nintendo Treehouse event which can be viewed on either YouTube or Twitch. To date, we've only really seen footage of the latest Legend of Zelda title, Breath of the Wild. It will likely be the headlining game for the Switch when it's unveiled, but it should be interesting to see if Nintendo has more enticing games planned for the console.
If Nintendo can ensure a unique range of games for the Switch, the Japanese company may be able to close the gap in the console market that Sony and Microsoft have carved out for themselves. For a reminder of the Nintendo Switch's potential, hit play on the video below.
