Microsoft will reveal Project Scorpio specs on 6 April
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 5 April 2017 | Categories: newsIf you're an Xbox gamer that's been patiently awaiting details about the Project Scorpio console, Microsoft has good news for you. Or rather Eurogamer by way of Digital Foundry, with the former set to reveal exclusive specifications about the console this Thursday, 6 April, at 15:00 (SAST).
To clear up the speculation: @digitalfoundry will have an exclusive Xbox Scorpio reveal on @eurogamer this Thursday at 2pm UK / 6am Pacific. pic.twitter.com/S6xxT2YCcn

Microsoft is inviting Digital Foundry to see Project Scorpio in action while Forza Motorsport 7 is played on a 4K resolution. The reveal, however, seems an odd move with E3 just two months away and a full debut expected then. As such, we may not get the full rundown of Project Scorpio, but rather a teaser of what's to come.
That has not stopped some reported information leaking, with a 6 teraflop running speed being touted, along with 12 GB of GDDR5 memory and a compact design with integrated power supply rumoured.
A bit more will be illuminated on Thursday afternoon, but hopefully there'll still be some surprises left for E3.
