Mimic powers showcased in new Prey gameplay trailer
By Robin-Leigh Chetty 24 February 2017 | Categories: newsPrey, Bethesda's highly anticipated remake, will hit consoles and PCs during the first week of May. To date, the developers have showcased multiple elements to the first person shooter, and this week is no different, with a new video titled Mimic Madness arriving on the company's YouTube channel.
For those unfamiliar with Prey, the Mimics are the main protagonists, and have infested the Talos I spacecraft that gamers find themselves on, playing as Morgan Yu. While the Mimics come in all shapes and sizes, posing multiple threats, Morgan has also been imbued with some of their strange powers. To that end, Bethesda's new video shows gamers some of the ways that gamers can use the Mimic powers against them.
The one on display in the video below is Mimic Matter, which allows you to take on the form of smaller objects, a nifty skill to have when stuck or wanting to move around the Talos I without being spotted. The further one progresses in the game, the larger the objects one can control. Arriving in a few months, Prey should be yet another great FPS title from Bethesda.
