What’s to say about the trailer for Iron Sky 2: The Coming Race? A vast conspiracy theory? Check. Washington D.C. destroyed by atomic bombs? Check. Spaceships? Check. Hitler on a dinosaur? Check, check, check.

The movie is a follow-up to the underappreciated 2012 Iron Sky, and was crowdfunded through Indiegogo. Why? Well the content isn’t exactly all that mainstream. Watch the extended trailer posted below and you’ll see the  scene is set by an atomic bomb destroying the US Capitol city. The President, a woman who looks remarkably like Sarah Palin, escapes to a bunker in the Arctic. From there, her origins are exposed, leading to a hollow Earth and, well Hitler on a dinosaur, doing a Nazi salute.  

Iron Sky 2: The Coming Race, looks like a b-movie romp, much better than Sharknado could ever spin. If it’s tongue-in-cheek action you’re after, well this is it. Helmed by Finnish director, Timo Vuorensola, who took care of the original Iron Sky and also some of the Star Wreck parody movies.  

Intellectual fare this aint, and thank heavens for that. Hit play below to see if Iron Sky 2 will be on your plate come early 2019 (if it’s released here).
